2009 Essay Contest

How to enter and WIN !

First Prize -  LAPTOP!

  1. Describe how technology might be used to “Green the Planet” – i.e.  how technology could be used to solve an immediate world concern. Examples might include world hunger, water conservation, energy efficiency or social-economic issues.  Please address the following questions:

    1. What is the specific problem or need in the world?

    2. What technology solution(s) do you recommend (and be specific!)

  2. Minimum of 750 words.  Maximum of 1000 words.  Must be typed and submitted with the following guidelines:

        1.  Entries must be received by
             November 6, 2009 by 5:00pm

        2.  Email attachment (word doc) to
             patty.santoianni@sinclair.edu

        3.  File name format:  School-Last Name
             (i.e.Sinclair-Santoianni)

        4.  No cover page; do not include name or
              school in essay.    

  3. Register to attend the We are IT Conference on Friday, November 20, 2009.  It's FREE           Must be present to WIN!
